Vision Sports Ireland wishes to announce that our popular and highly respected part-time Executive Officer Sarah Mc Loughlin has agreed a redundancy package with us with effect from last Thursday.

Vision Sports are in the process of total administrative reorganisation right now with some new announcements to follow over coming weeks.

Sarah Mc Loughlin joined the Board of Irish Blind Sports in the autumn of 2011. By the spring of 2013 Sarah left the Board to become our sole employee as part-time Executive Officer. By that summer she was elected Company Secretary at our AGM.

As Executive Officer she oversaw many significant milestones including our re-branding as Vision Sports, the re-launch of MayFest, our annual blue ribbon multi sports weekend as well as co-editing our 2015-2018 Strategic Plan. In her volunteer role as Company Secretary Sarah has facilitated considerable constitutional change as well as organising four AGMs and an EGM.
